18.-21. May 2026 TRA Budapest
As Europe accelerates its transition towards cleaner, smarter, and more connected transport systems, the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026 will bring together the continent’s leading transport experts, policymakers, researchers, and innovators in Budapest, Hungary.
3DxVERSE will be part of the conversation, engaging with stakeholders who are shaping the future of mobility through digitalisation, data sharing, automation, and sustainability. As Europe’s largest transport research and innovation conference, TRA provides a unique platform to explore the technologies and frameworks needed to create resilient, efficient, and citizen-centric mobility ecosystems.
The themes of TRA 2026 closely align with 3DxVERSE’s mission to develop interoperable Local Digital Twins that support sustainable travel and living communities. Through its work across mobility, airports, and urban environments, the project is demonstrating how digital twins can enable better decision-making, improve operational efficiency, reduce environmental impacts, and strengthen collaboration across sectors.
By participating in TRA 2026, 3DxVERSE aims to contribute to discussions on the future of transport digitalisation, share insights from its pilot activities, and connect with organisations working to advance smart mobility solutions across Europe and beyond.
