Spaces Symposium 2026

3DxVERSE will take part in the Data Spaces Symposium 2026, a key European gathering focused on the development of sovereign, interoperable and trustworthy data spaces. The event brings together leading organisations, experts and policymakers working on the future of data sharing across sectors.

3DxVERSE Contribution
Session: Towards a European Mobility Data Space: Interoperability, Governance, and Compliance
Speaker: Eusebiu Catana

During this session, Eusebiu Catana will present how 3DxVERSE contributes to the development of a European Mobility Data Space. The presentation will highlight the project’s practical approach through its four interconnected digital twins:

  • Almelo
  • Hamburg
  • Aruba
  • Timișoara

These use cases demonstrate how mobility‑related data spaces can be implemented across different governance settings, showing how digital twins support interoperability, governance alignment and cross‑sector data sharing.

Why This Matters for 3DxVERSE
Participation in the symposium allows 3DxVERSE to:
Showcase its role as a European example of mobility‑focused data space implementation

  • Contribute to discussions on interoperability, governance and compliance
  • Connect its digital twin pilots to broader European data‑space developments
  • By engaging in this event, 3DxVERSE strengthens its position within the evolving landscape of European data spaces and highlights the value of its multi‑city digital twin strategy.
