What is your organization’s role in the project?

Adecs AirSystem primarily will focus on the definition of the use cases that will be implemented within the 3DxVerse digital twins. In parallel we also create a data source semi realtime providing aircraft positions around the airport. These data will be used within the project to calculate impacts of aviation on the environment of the airport.

What unique contribution will your organization bring to the team and the O-CEI objectives?

Adecs expertise is on the flight handling at airports. The detection and registration of flight movements around an airport are used to improve the flight handling process and will optimise resource planning at the airport in the AODB management system. The flight data will also be used to calculate flight impact or impact contributions, such as noise loads on the surrounding of the airport. Our contribution will improve the transparency around flight movements (do they fly where it is allowed or agreed upon) and the improved flight handling will reduce fuel use, and therefore improve sustainability and address climate goals.

Why is this project important for your organization?

The project will add services to our airport operational database system. With help of the flight detection and registration facilities we will be able to improve the expected handling milestones of flights, that will improve the efficiency of flight handling and reduce fuel use. These new services will improve our commercial position.
